Hi Everyone!

Today I have a 3d ish window card for ya. My niece has a kidney stone and I made her a get well card to brighten her day. This is the first time making this card but I think that it turned out alright, I wish I had a punch that could have did the center but I guess free hand worked!

The pictures didn't turn out too well, but maybe you get the idea!

I Got an award!

Lynda over at lynda's creative touches has awarded me with The stylish blogger award!

It is such an honor to receive these awards. When I started my blog I never
thought that I would ever have any followers, or did I think that I would
inspire people. I just wanted a place to enter all the wonderful Challenges out there, but the more that I posted and received comments I felt more inspired and found wonderful inspiration in all of you!

Upon receiving this award I must thank the person who gave this to me and link it back to their blog and share 8 things about myself. Also, pass along the award to 8 other individuals that I have recently discovered and leave a comment so that they can pass along the recognition.

I have found so many deserving people over the last week. I wish I could give all of you one!

Debbie's Birthday blog hop!!! Day 3!

      Hi Everyone!
      First off HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBBIE!
I hope you have all been following along on this wonderful Birthday blog hop, The last 2 days have been so much fun! This was my first blog hop to be part of and I have had a blast! There are so many talented crafters participating in this hop and I have been so inspired, and still shocked that I am part of it.
If you got here from Cheryl Then you are on the right track but if not you can Start here!
Here is the line up in case you get lost along the way!

So with out further ado here is the project that I created for today!

I used the cricut to cut out the Flowers and the vase. They are cut at 3 inches. I just flipped the stem on one of them. Tie a little ribbon around the vase and added some glittery puff paint to the roses.
Very fun but easy card to make. oh FYI: I used my xyron to help with adhering the roses together, made it so easy!

I would like to remind you of the wonderful blog candy that is being provided by  Picture Keeper has sponsored this Birthday blog hop and has provided  one of their 4gb Picture keepers for me to give away.

Here is the project that I created:

The Easel card is a great card to make because it has a natural display feature!

          Recipe:
for Base: cut card stock @ 6 1/4 by 9
fold in half to create a top fold card and then score @ 2 1/4 from the bottom and fold to form "stand"

          For front: cut a card stock @ 6 1/4 by 4 1/2
Glue to the 2 1/4 part of the base aligning the tops.

The decorative papers are cut at 6 by 4 1/4
          and 5 1/2 by 3 3/4
I used a pre-made tag enjoy tag and tied a ribbon to the opening
I put small white eyelets in the corners
I add pre-cut fabric flower from memory makers and stick on gems
          to add some piazza!

The Inside I used some green card stock and a clear sticker also from memory makers.

Thanks for Joining us on this Birthday hop!

            Get Well Soon envelope card

Hi Everyone! I hope that this post finds you all doing good. My husband and I have been sick for the last week (he was worse than me) but we are starting to feel better now. I am glad too because now I can get back to my crafting. YIPPY!

Last week was not a terrible week as we welcomed two new babies to our family, A great nephew, Caden James, and a great niece, Alaya Naomi.

They were born just hours apart and that was very exciting! Both babies and mommies are doing great…

On a sadder note, my best friend's sister has a 1-month-old daughter and she is very sick right now with meningitis. She will have to be in the hospital for anywhere from 14-21 days. She is doing somewhat better as she receives IV's and they are trying to control her temperature. I decide to make her a get well soon card just to let them know that I am thinking of them and praying for her fast recovery.

I made a envelope style card with a paper band to keep it closed.

Here is what I came up with.

All of the papers are from Wal-mart Colorbok packs

The words were cut on the cricut at 3" cut to length

I used a paper band to hold the card shut and stamped Hello on it and added 2 white brads.
I hope that you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by! If you have any questions on how to make this type of card please let me know and I will try to help you as much as I can!

            ~Sarah
