Would you ever guess wednesday

Hi Guys and Dolls!
Its Time for Would you ever guess Wednesday over at My Cricut Craft Room.

I used paper doll dress up to create a cute little unicorn for my great niece. She is obsessed with them, and I wanted to make a card for her and to my surprise I found one on the Paper Doll dress up cricut cartridge under the accessories 3 button.

3 unicorns from paper doll dress up in gypsy screen.

In my gypsy I took the unicorn from button 13 under accessories 3 button and on one of the unicorns I hid all of the features and made it more like a black out. I sized them all to 4 inches.

I cut the "black out" one in black, and the others I cut one in purple and one in pink.

On the Pink on I cut the mane and tail area away so that the purple would show through.

I used my galaxy markers in purple and rose to add some detail to the mane and tail areas.

I used my cuttlebug perfect paisley folder to add a little texture to the body of the unicorn. I then inked it with Tim Holtz worn lipstick distress in.

I heat embossed the Dreams  on the top and used recollections Hot Pink embossing powder.
I love how the Pink just stands out.
I add a little glitter here and there and I think it turned out cute.

Would you have ever guessed that this cute little unicorn could be made from the paper doll dress up cartridge.
It just goes to show ya that there are many images on our cartridges that we over look.

To see more projects like mine head over to My Cricut Craft Room and see what the other members of the Design team made.

Until next time

Shaped bunny card

Happy Spring Everyone!
Wow! It is hard to believe that it is the middle of March already. This year is flying by.
I have been working in  my craft nook a lot the past few days, ever since I found out that I made the My Cricut Craft room design team. I have been organizing my little area to make things a little easier on myself.

I was taking a break from the cleaning and broke out my gypsy and made this cute little bunny shaped card.
Here's the layout in my gypsy.

I used doodlecharms for the bunny shape.
For the card base( show in red in picture) I used the blackout function key and the bunny on button# 7 cut at 3.85 x 8.24
I flipped one of them and welded them together to create the card base.
I cut the bunny face at 4.12" in white card stock( shown with box around it)
then I cut another bunny(black out mode) out of white card stock @ 3.86 for the inside of the card.
I cut the little nose at 4.92 out of pink.

So here is what the card looks like
I used some doodlebug limeade twine and tied a bow on her ear. I also used a some Glam Pink stickles on her nose and crystal stickles on her ear.I picked those products  up at Erica's Craft room store
On the inside of the card I used the smaller bunny to create a liner and I stamped Happy Easter with a Close to my heart stamp set seasonal celebrations

Lastly I stitched around the outside of the card and added glossy accents to the eyes.

Oh I almost forgot. I used some chalk to give her some pink cheeks and pink inside the ears.

I had a lot of fun making this cutie. It was so easy and didn't take much time at all.
Ok so your saying to yourself I can't make this because I don't have the gypsy. WRONG!!!! You can make this card. I would cut out the pieces the same way that I did except the welding an just join the two larger bunny shapes with a brad or eyelet to make a swing card.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I will see you all again soon!

wild card birthday!

Hello Ladies!

Today is a beautiful day, and I am so blessed and thankful for the day that God has given me. I hope that you all feel the same way.
I have a cute little card and envelope to show you all today. I made it with the wild card cartridge.
When I got this cart I was a little intimidated by it but once I tried it. It is SUPER EASY to use.
The one thing I would tell you is cut the envelope first. Then cut the card and layers.
I made this cute little birthday card.
I embossed the cupcake with d'vine swirls and then added stickles for the icing.
The envelope had little candles that it cut out so I used worn lipstick distress in to make them show up.
I think it turned out super cute.

well that's all folks.
Until next time crafty hugs

Butterfly card

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!
I just wanted to share a quick card with you all. I actually submitted this card as a design team entry and I am eagerly  waiting to see if I made the team.

I used Everyday pop up cards for the butterfly and I cut it @3 and 1/2.
I spritzed the background with homemade "glimmer" spray. I used the doily lace punch to add a boarder to the edge.
I used a CTMH stamp and embossed it with green embossing powder.
I really like the way the card turned out.

I hope that y'all have a great weekend.
I plan on getting some more projects done, so that I can keep up on posting.
Thanks for stopping by

Little squit gun shaker card

Hey everyone! super long time no post lol.  I wont bore you with the blah blah cause I have no excuse for not posting. I hope that you have been doing well. I have missed you all so much.
I have a cute little card to share with you that I made for the b is for boy cricut lite cart.

The is is a standard a2 size.  the main thing I wanted to share with you is how I made the shaker squirt gun.I cut all the pieces for the squirt gun at 4 inches. then I re-cut just the top blue layer. I added a piece of clear acetate and then used foam dots all the way around the edge to create an area that would be the shaker  part and filled it with superfine glitter. It was easier than I though. This card was really fun to make.
I hope you will give it a try.
Until next time
