Get Well Soon envelope card

Hi Everyone! I hope that this post finds you all doing good. My husband and I have been sick for the last week (he was worse than me) but we are starting to feel better now. I am glad too because now I can get back to my crafting. YIPPY!

Last week was not a terrible week as we welcomed two new babies to our family, A great nephew, Caden James, and a great niece, Alaya Naomi.

They were born just hours apart and that was very exciting! Both babies and mommies are doing great…

On a sadder note, my best friend's sister has a 1-month-old daughter and she is very sick right now with meningitis. She will have to be in the hospital for anywhere from 14-21 days. She is doing somewhat better as she receives IV's and they are trying to control her temperature. I decide to make her a get well soon card just to let them know that I am thinking of them and praying for her fast recovery.

I made a envelope style card with a paper band to keep it closed.

Here is what I came up with.

All of the papers are from Wal-mart Colorbok packs

The words were cut on the cricut at 3" cut to length

I used a paper band to hold the card shut and stamped Hello on it and added 2 white brads.
I hope that you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by! If you have any questions on how to make this type of card please let me know and I will try to help you as much as I can!
